The electronic control system consists of a central unit with touch screen and up to 64, also distributed distributed input and output modules (EAM) with application-specific functions. All EAMs are LON-FTT10-compatible and are supplied with data and voltage via the BUS line. By DIN rail mounting all modules can be inexpensively and easily mounted. Just like every cook, the SICOTRONIC central unit monitors the respective thermostat state (and, of course, the on / off state of the device switch) of switched-on devices and counts the individually and currently expired operating seconds. Heating phase, cooking phase, loaded and unloaded thermostat play are reliably detected and evaluated. To avoid production disruptions in individual devices, the shutdown periods are computer-controlled and automatically reduced to a minimum, depending on the load ratio, type of device, current use and production phase and thermostat play.

To reduce the power consumption of ventilation and larger hoods, the conventional hand control can be replaced by intelligent, automatic control. Depending on the switch-on message of the devices, the ventilation is switched. The assignment is programmed on the ZE5000 and the outputs are controlled via the LSM-6 modules.

This module is used in conjunction with the ZE5000 to communicate with compatible charging stations the current available power available. The distribution of this power takes place under the charging stations. Deep-freeze rooms larger than 10 m³ must be subjected to mandatory monitoring and measured and logged in a 15-minute cycle. This temperature control of freezer and cold rooms is recommended for food hygiene monitoring in accordance with HACCP or EN ISO 9000 in the canteen kitchen. SICOTRONIC offers a two-wire BUS module for analog temperature measurement. 4 probes Pt100 with 4-wire connection can be connected. All refrigerators and freezers can be queried locally – an individually adjustable temperature limit monitors the correct refrigerator compartment temperature and issues an alarm message if the specified limit is exceeded or undershot. The temperature curves, which lasted up to one year, can be called up, displayed and selected historically on the graphic display of the central unit by pressing a button.

Without the complete laying of signaling or signaling cables from the device to the on-site display unit or the potential-free auxiliary device contacts, powerful kitchen control panels can be connected to the central unit 5000 via only one two-wire cable. The Küchenleitertableau signals the on or off states of all electrothermal devices – the chef has thus always in mind, which devices are currently occupied or if at home, a device may be turned on accidentally. For this purpose, SICOTRONIC supplies a tabletop decoder board which can be integrated in every kitchen control panel and decodes the BUS data (switch-on and switch-off states) and converts them into LED signals. Upon request, an individual anodised tray with black outline print is delivered ready for surface or flush mounting. Two separate LEDs indicate a pending alarm or fault message.
Alternatively, an electronic version of the panel is available. Using the remote maintenance software S5Remote, the floor plan of any kitchen can be read in on the PC screen via an image file. Freely placeable light fields show in color the state of the respective kitchen appliance in the picture.

S0-Quantities pulse module
Thanks to LON network technology, numerous consumptions, even non-electrical ones, can be registered, remote read and visualized. For this purpose, SICOTRONIC offers the module EAM-IMP, which operates and queries the widely used and standardized S0 interfaces. All types of consumption or flow can be measured, be it gas, water, electricity, air, etc. The measured value is stored both in the module as a cumulative sum, and in the central unit 5000. From there, this can also be defined manually or timed z , B. reset at the end of the month.

LON-active power measurement transducer
The LON multi-function transmitter measures the respective phase currents on a three-phase infeed and thus determines the total output. Of course, in addition to the active power and the phase currents can be transmitted. The special refinement: the LON multifunction transmitter has a contact for HT / NT switching. The installer requires no further lines or wires to the central unit.
Another application: z. B. with two or more to be monitored feeds is at a distance of the measuring points greater than about 50 to 100 m no conventional summation current measurement more possible because the current transformer would distort the measurement result by the cable power loss. The LON network technology with intelligent transmitters from SICOTRONIC sets up local subdistribution measuring points and performs the digital measured value transmission and summation via the LON network – thus eliminating the time-consuming installation of summation current transformers. Up to 5 measurements are summed in the ZE5000 and it is optimized.
