In one large kitchen with 12 medium-sized, electro thermal appliances (i.e. tilting pan, boiling pan, combisteamer, oven, dishwasher, etc.) and 3 constant energy consuming appliances (i.e. ventilators and hot food counters or steam tables) the average annual electrical usage was about 225,000 kWh with peak loads of 150 kW. After installing the SICOTRONIC 4000 system and optimizing the loads the average use dropped 5% to 210,000 kWh and peak loads dropped to less than 100 kW. This produced power cost savings of over 25% and paid for the SICOTRONIC system in less than 2 years. After the pay back, all the cost reductions were savings in their pockets, year, after year, after year.
